The system operates on oxidation, aeration, and filtration technology, where dissolved ferrous iron (Fe²⁺) is converted into ferric iron (Fe³⁺) and removed through a high-efficiency filtration media. The plant ensures iron removal up to 10–20 ppm (depending on raw water quality) and delivers water compliant with IS 10500 drinking water standards.
